Who Is ICB?
ICB is an 87-year-old Independent External Examination Body for Accredited Business Qualifications in Southern Africa.
Their role is to create pathways for students to obtain valuable business studies skills for employment that are endorsed by credible Business Qualifications.
As an appointed Quality Assurance Partner for QCTO (Quality Council for Trades and Occupations), ICB is authorized to conduct examinations on a number of Registered Qualifications that are on the NQF (National Qualifications Framework).
The office administration qualification is designed to provide graduates with the knowledge as well as practical skills necessary to perform efficiently as an Office Administrator.

The financial accounting qualification is designed to provide graduates with the knowledge and practical skills in bookkeeping, financial accounting, income tax financial management, reporting standards, corporate strategy, management accounting and research. The qualification comprises of 12 subjects that builds on each other.
A student will be able to achieve their associated NQF qualifications at each of the levels on successful completion.
Public Sector Accounting
The public sector accounting qualification is designed to address the lack of skills in the public sector and provide graduates with the knowledge to assist government operate more productively. This qualification will enable students to produce high quality financial statements, implement basic internal controls, conduct effective internal auditing, and apply sound accounting and financial principles.
The public sector accounting qualification is designed over three phases, the Foundation Level through the Intermediate Level to the Advanced level.
